The largest of our Step Up range, The Discovery includes five interlinking platforms that provide the ultimate in outdoor free flow play where children can take the lead and practise skills across all aspects of their development.

The Discovery has two large 1.8m square platforms, a 1.5m square central platform and two 1.2m square platforms with six walkways and three staircase access points.

The triple access aspect encourages children to invent and reinvent different ways of using and negotiating  different ways around the Discovery which makes sure that they are developing cognitive skills as well as physical and social skills such as sharing ideas and waiting in turn.

A staircase on the far left leads to the first of the large platforms, this platform has three walkways, one on the right leading to a jetty platform, one a “cul de sac” walkway and a third leading to the middle platform.

The middle platform has a walkway leading to the second large platform and a walkway on the right leading to a central staircase.

The second large platform has a walkway leading to the second of the 1.2m platforms with staircase access.

The entire structure is protected with balustrade rails painted in bright and attractive colours, and the stairs in black anti-slip rubberised paint.
